VANRATH is partnering with a large-scale organisation to recruit an HR Officer. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a multi-site business, supporting colleagues and management teams with a broad range of HR initiatives. About You / Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR generalist role
- Experience in recruitment and selection, training and development, disciplinaries, absence management, and employment law advisory
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships at all levels
- Ability to manage workload and time efficiently
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Desirable:
- Postgraduate HR qualification
- HR experience in retail or multi-site environments
- Knowledge of TUPE processes and experience working with Trade Unions
- Proficiency in HR information systems
- CIPD membership
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures
- Support recruitment and selection processes
- Deliver training and development initiatives
- Manage disciplinary and grievance cases
- Oversee absence management and performance management processes
- Assist with TUPE processes during acquisitions, including data preparation and audits
- Contribute to employee engagement activities
- Support HR administration and projects across the business
