You'll be joining a large public sector organisation committed to delivering essential services across Northern Ireland. The Human Resources team plays a key role in attracting, recruiting and retaining talent, ensuring the organisation has the workforce required to deliver high-quality services.

About you

  • Degree (Level 6) in Human Resource Management with at least 1 year's HR experience including employee resourcing, or Level 5 HR qualification with at least 2 years' relevant experience
  • Associate CIPD membership (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience providing HR advice and guidance on recruitment and resourcing matters
  • Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Knowledge of employment legislation relating to employee resourcing
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Full driving licence (or access to suitable transport)

What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of recruitment and employee resourcing activities across the organisation
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on recruitment policies, procedures and best practice
  • Coordinate recruitment campaigns from advertisement through to appointment
  • Prepare and maintain recruitment documentation, job descriptions and candidate information packs
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process
  • Complete pre-employment checks including references, medicals and background screening
  • Produce HR reports, statistics and management information
  • Deliver training and support to recruiting managers and interview panels
  • Review and improve recruitment processes and procedures
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and HR projects
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies and data protection requirements
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
