Summary: VANRATH are delighted to partner with a client in Belfast, who are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused HR professional to deliver comprehensive administrative and support services to the Human Resources Department.

What do you need?

  • At least one year of experience in a busy Human Resources function.
  • GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable.

If this aligns with your experience, here is how you’ll contribute day to day:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, managing communications and system workflows with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive the recruitment process, from issuing contracts and offer letters to coordinating pre-employment checks and candidate communications.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, maintaining accurate records and complete documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits, including healthcare and pensions, offering clear guidance and support.
  • Oversee absence management, coordinating medical appointments, processing leave, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support employee relations, handling disciplinary, grievance, and appeal processes in line with best practice.
  • Deliver insightful HR reports and maintain up-to-date HR systems to support organisational decisions.
  • Provide proactive HR administration, assisting the team, managing communications, and coordinating employee engagement initiatives.
