VANRATH are recruiting for a Health and Wellbeing Admin Officer to support the delivery, development and monitoring of funded community partner services. This role sits within the Health & Wellbeing team and acts as a key point of contact for service users, ensuring the delivery of a professional, compassionate and efficient administrative support service.
About you
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) and at least 2 years' relevant administrative experience
- Experience dealing professionally with vulnerable individuals in person and by telephone
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience maintaining electronic and paper-based filing systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience updating databases and generating reports
- Ability to draft professional correspondence to a high standard
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements
- Experience working with sensitive information and vulnerable service users (desirable)
What you'll do
- Act as the first point of contact for clients both by telephone and in person
- Respond to enquiries and provide information on available services and support
- Process registrations, applications and supporting documentation
- Draft correspondence to clients and third parties
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records
- Update databases and ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Provide reception cover and welcome visitors to the office
- Record and process client information in line with organisational procedures
- Support managers and the wider team with administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, GDPR and records management requirements
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and maintain high standards of customer care
