About your next employer
Our client operates in construction and asset management, delivering services across a multi-site government estate with varied risk profiles. You'll be joining an environment where safety assurance, contractor engagement and CDM compliance are central to delivering work safely - alongside regular reporting cycles and engagement with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent) or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation with practical experience applying CDM
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role across construction, property or facilities management environments
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Ability to review RAMS / construction phase planning documentation and support contractor assurance
- Experience investigating incidents/near misses, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions
Nice to have skills
- Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. IOSH), ideally working towards or holding Chartered status
- Trained Accident Investigator qualification
Preferred education and experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Background in Health & Safety across construction/maintenance environments, particularly where CDM aligned activity is involved
Other requirements
- Hybrid role based in Belfast (expect 2-3 days per week in the office)
- Ability to travel between sites as required for multi-site assurance activity
- Will be required to complete a Counter Terrorism check
