About your next employer:
Operating across industrial, engineering, scrap metal and construction-related environments, this business supports day-to-day operations across Northern Ireland. Reporting to senior management, you’ll work closely with operational teams and managers, regularly visiting sites to help embed a positive safety culture.
About you:
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial or scrap metal environments
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- Experience preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Experience conducting site inspections and audits
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage employees at all levels
- Ability to deliver Toolbox Talks and safety briefings
- Strong administration and report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
Nice to Have Skills:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- IOSH qualification
- Experience within scrap metal recycling, engineering, construction or heavy industry
- Experience investigating accidents and near misses
- Working knowledge of ISO management systems
Other Requirements:
- Based in Belfast with travel to sites across Northern Ireland
- Full UK driving licence
