Temporary to Permanent
VANRATH are partnering with one of the largest Housing Associations in NI in their search for a Floor Layer initially on a 6 month contract with a view of being made permanent.
Salary: This role offers c£34,320 pa plus excellent holiday allowance, Van & Fuel card.
The Ideal person
- Essential:
- A time served Floor Layer.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of experience in the delivery of Floor Laying services.
- A minimum of 5 Years' experience working with anti-slip sheet vinyl, carpets and carpet tiles.
- Experienced in Latexing & Feather Edging.
- Experienced in the fitting of capped and cove former for sheet vinyl to be turned up the wall.
- Experienced in laying and welding anti-slip sheet vinyl in wet rooms and shower rooms.
- Evidence of delivering high levels of customer service.
- Able to use a PDA / smartphone / mobile working device.
- Reliable & Flexible.
- Have a current valid UK driving licence.
- Desirable:
- A minimum of 3 Years' relevant experience in the social housing sector.
Responsibilities:
Working as part of the responsive repairs division, you will undertake repairs and maintenance in our occupied properties. You’ll be performing a vital Floor laying role inside these properties ensuring that all works required are completed to the highest standards. You will be confident and capable, ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety.
