VANRATH are delighted to be searching for an Accounting professional to join a growing organisation in Belfast City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their finance career who is keen to build strong foundations in a supportive, growing finance function. You will gain hands-on experience, develop valuable commercial and technical skills, and learn from an experienced team within a well-established and forward-thinking organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Support the Finance Manager within a busy finance team
- Maintain financial records and assist with financial reporting
- Use accounting software and Excel to support day-to-day finance activities
- Process and post supplier invoices accurately
- Match invoices to POs and resolve discrepancies
- Work collaboratively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
About you:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a finance or accounts administration role
- Comfortable using accounting software and Excel
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Able to work accurately under pressure and as part of a team
