VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with an innovative scaling business based in Greater Belfast to recruit a commercially astute hands-on Finance Manager to take on a pivotal role within the business and look after the day-to-day finances.

The Role

  • Oversee the transactional finance function for the business
  • Ensure efficient working capital and cash management
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in line with month-end process and reporting deadlines
  • Maintain an effective credit control function
  • Optimise efficiencies and functionality of new accounting system (Sage Intacct)
  • Assist FD in developing reporting and insights gained from Sage Intacct and Power BI systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax-related returns and payments
  • Preparation of audit files for the external auditors and liaising with the auditors for the annual audit
  • Maintain a framework and culture of financial control
  • Other related activities as required

The Person

  • Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT and Excel skills are required
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
