My client, a growing and highly successful manufacturing organisation, is hiring a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team based in Belfast. As a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing data across pricing, operations and supply chain functions. You will gather requirements, develop insights, and deliver reporting that supports strategic and day-to-day decision-making. You will also help identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency across the business.

The Role

  • Analyse business data across pricing, operations and commercial functions
  • Develop reports, dashboards and insights to support decision-making
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements
  • Support pricing analysis and optimisation initiatives
  • Identify trends, patterns and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Assist in improving data quality, consistency and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance and leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business

The Person

  • Experience in a Data Analyst / BI Analyst / Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel essential)
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools highly desirable
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with pricing, operations or commercial data is beneficial
  • Understanding of business processes within manufacturing, supply chain or operations is desirable
  • Exposure to SQL or data querying tools is advantageous
