A leading organisation in Belfast is seeking a Compliance Executive to join its team on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance, assurance, audit or risk professional to play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance, business improvement initiatives, and organisational assurance programmes.
The Role
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will support the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks, policies, procedures and management systems across the organisation. You will also assist with auditing, risk assessment, incident investigations and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate and monitor risk assessments, method statements and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with internal audit programmes and compliance assurance activities.
- Audit compliance against legislative, regulatory and management system requirements.
- Conduct investigations, root cause analysis and identify corrective actions.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Produce reports, metrics and trend analysis for management.
Essential Criteria
- Third-level qualification in a business, engineering or related discipline, or a relevant vocational qualification/certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Recent experience within a compliance, assurance, audit or governance role in an operational or commercial environment.
- Experience creating and reviewing risk assessments.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online research tools.
Desirable
- Experience supporting health & safety, environmental, energy management or business continuity programmes.
