VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a major company in Northern Ireland with the recruitment of a Buyer to join a growing and dynamic company based in Belfast. This company operates in the FMCG / Nutritional / Food Sector. This position is based in the company's Belfast office. Monday - Friday position. Hybrid working is available (80% in the office / 20% at home). This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best commercial outcomes
  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with demand forecasts and stock requirements
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs
  • Identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulations
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business needs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a buyer role managing product categories or portfolios within the food retail or wholesale industry or FMCG
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proven success in delivering commercial outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
