We're looking for an Azure Data Platform Engineer to join a collaborative and growing technology team. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud-based data platforms, supporting business-critical systems while contributing to the ongoing development and optimisation of data infrastructure. You'll work closely with software engineers, infrastructure specialists, and stakeholders across the business, playing a key role in ensuring data platforms remain secure, reliable, scalable, and high performing. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise cloud-hosted databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
- Support reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making through SQL development and data investigation.
- Maintain and improve database infrastructure, backup and recovery processes, and system monitoring.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Develop and support data integration solutions and data movement processes across multiple systems.
