VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Belfast, as they continue to grow their Audit team. This is a superb opportunity for an Audit Senior who enjoys variety, client exposure and working in a supportive, high-performing environment.
The Role
- You will join a busy audit team delivering external audit engagements across a broad portfolio, with exposure to a strong mix of local and UK/ROI-linked clients.
- You will work closely with Managers and Partners, taking ownership of key areas on site and progressing towards leading smaller audits.
What You Will Do
- Deliver audit fieldwork from planning through to completion, working to budget and deadlines.
- Prepare high-quality audit files, including testing, documentation and file completion.
- Draft accounts, management letters and points for discussion with clients.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries efficiently.
- Support and coach junior team members on site, helping develop their technical and practical skills.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in audit approach, systems and file quality.

Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist (or equivalent).
- Strong audit experience gained within a practice environment.

- Experience supporting/mentoring junior staff (desirable).
