VANRATH is looking for an Aftersales Advisor to join a respected Aftersales Team at a busy dealership in the Boucher road area of Belfast. We are seeking personable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy building relationships and delivering outstanding service experiences. Strong communication is essential within the dealership. As well as creating exceptional experiences for customers, you will build positive and professional working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and partners across the business.

Main Duties

  • The role involves both face-to-face and telephone interaction with customers, always with the goal of delivering exceptional customer service and support.
  • This is a fast-paced and rewarding position that requires excellent teamwork, strong communication across departments, and a consistently professional approach.
  • The successful candidate will naturally put the customer first, bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to their work, and demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The role also includes promoting products and services such as EVHCs and Service Plans, so an understanding of these offerings will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining the customer database while proactively engaging with customers.
  • Building long-term customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
  • Promoting and supporting Aftersales products and services.
  • Taking an active role in dealership social media activity, including appearing in and leading social media content initiatives.
  • Working closely with colleagues across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.

About You

  • A genuine passion for the brand and delivering the highest levels of customer service.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a franchised car dealership.
  • Experience with One-Link, fleet operations awareness, and Motability Accreditation (desirable but not essential).
  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Strong IT literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The confidence and enthusiasm to help grow the department's social media presence.
  • The ability to proactively manage and develop customer relationships through effective database management.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
