VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful and growing digital accountancy practice in Lisburn to recruit an Accounts & Tax Senior due to continued expansion. The Role
This position offers a varied mix of accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client advisory work with absolutely no audit involvement. You will work closely with an established portfolio of clients, helping them navigate their financial position using modern cloud-based systems and live reporting tools. This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys building relationships, embracing technology, and being part of a collaborative and energetic office environment.
What You Will Do
- Prepare year-end accounts for a broad portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
- Complete personal and corporate tax work
- Work closely with clients using cloud accounting software including Xero
- Assist clients with management reporting and digital accounting processes
- Support advisory-led conversations around business performance and growth
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact
- Collaborate with a highly experienced and supportive team in a modern office environment

Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience within accountancy practice
- Strong accounts preparation and tax experience
- Comfortable working directly with clients
- Experience using Xero or cloud accounting software would be highly advantageous
- Medical sector client exposure would be beneficial but not essential
- Positive attitude with strong communication and organisational skills
