Financial Accountant - Belfast City Centre - Global Manufacturing

About You

  • Proven experience in financial or accounting analysis, preferably within a technical or manufacturing setting
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and data management tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and commercial data
  • Qualifications such as ICAI, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, or demonstrable relevant experience
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and meet deadlines

What You'll Do

  • Support the finance team by preparing detailed product analysis, variance reports, and financial assessments
  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets, supporting multi-year planning
  • Liaise with product managers and project accountants to ensure accurate contract reporting and risk management
  • Contribute to the enhancement of IT reporting tools and techniques for better financial insights
  • Support month-end activities, including accruals, reports, and audit documentation
  • Provide timely financial data to aid management decision-making and drive process improvements
