About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. Reporting to a Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the finance team supporting commercial and operational activities through financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience
  • Experience working within a complex, cost-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and scenario analysis
  • Experience working with large data sets and complex data analysis

What You'll Do

  • Analyse customer profitability, product margins, and overall performance to support strategic initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate costs of sales and operational expenses, assessing their impact on margins and profitability
  • Provide financial insights for pricing strategies and new product development
  • Prepare monthly reports and develop forecasting models for short and long-term planning
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, support audits, and assess market or regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with business teams to improve financial outcomes and present insights to senior leadership
