- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (actively studying and progressing)
- Previous experience in a finance role within practice or industry
- Good understanding of accounting fundamentals, including month-end processes and reconciliations

- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Motivated to learn, develop, and progress within a finance career

What you'll do:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with auditors where required
- Support month-end close processes including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
- Provide financial support to wider business functions
- Assist with tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements
- Support grant funding applications and interdepartmental financial processes
