We're working with a well-established and very busy law firm in Bangor to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor to join its established property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to join a successful regional practice in Bangor, with a strong local reputation, an established client base and a significant volume of property work. The firm is keen to hear from candidates in Bangor, North Down, Belfast and surrounding areas who are looking to build a long-term career, with potential progression towards partnership.
The Role
- Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, advising clients throughout the transaction and ensuring a high level of client service.
- Managing residential sales and purchases from start to finish.
- Freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Dealing with searches, title issues, contracts, enquiries and post-completion.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents and other professionals.
- Providing clear and practical advice throughout the conveyancing process.
- Building strong relationships with an established local client base.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the property team.
- There may also be scope to broaden your wider property experience, depending on your background and interests.
About You
- The firm is open to solicitors at different levels of PQE, provided you have solid experience in Northern Ireland residential conveyancing.
- Qualified Solicitor status in Northern Ireland.
- Practical residential conveyancing experience.
- The ability to manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and client-care skills.
- A commercial and proactive approach to your work.
