What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with VAT, tax returns, and statutory regulations
- Work alongside the Managing Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth operational functioning
- Improve and maintain financial systems, processes, and controls
- Provide support for audit and liaise with external advisors and stakeholders
- Carry out general ad hoc tasks that support business and operational needs
About You
- Bookkeeper or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE with strong experience
- Experience in a sole finance role or small business environment is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving ability
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
- Strong communicator who is comfortable working closely with senior management
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic, growing environment
