About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer-focused, and commercially aware professional with experience in account management, customer retention, order coordination, and client relationship management to play a key role within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships, overseeing account activity, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery across your client portfolio. Acting as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, you will focus on customer satisfaction, retention, renewals, and ongoing account support - with no requirement for new business sales or cold calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships to support customer retention and long-term account development.
- Act as the primary contact for customer queries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate customer requests and ongoing account activity, ensuring smooth delivery of products/services.
- Work closely with internal departments including operations, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure an excellent client experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and account documentation within CRM/ERP systems.
- Monitor account activity and provide regular updates and reporting on customer performance, renewals, and service usage.
- Support customer retention initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and strengthen client relationships.
- Manage renewals and ongoing customer communications to ensure continuity of service.
- Build trusted relationships with clients to encourage long-term partnership and maximise account value.
- Ensure customer issues and escalations are handled promptly and effectively.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an account management, customer service, sales support, or client relationship role.
- Strong experience managing existing customer accounts in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Proficient in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
- Customer-focused with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience handling renewals, retention, or ongoing customer support is desirable.
