VANRATH are pleased to be supporting a hugely successful manufacturing business in the Craigavon area in their recruitment of a Management Accountant to cover a period of maternity. Initially scheduled for 12 months, this opportunity will give you exposure to a truly international operation. If you are a Newly Qualified Accountant with a desire to gain sought after industry experience, this could be the ideal role.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the full management accounting process, including P&L, balance sheet commentary and variance analysis.
To be considered for this role it is essential to be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant ideally with experience in a manufacturing or production environment. This is an urgent role for the business and as such, candidates with a shortened notice period will be preferred.
About you
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Management Accountant experience
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Manufacturing/Production experience (desirable)
- Available at short notice
What you'll do
- Produce monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet commentary and variance analysis
- Support month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, stock and WIP
- Lead or support annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Provide clear, actionable financial insight to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls and processes
