A leading Manufacturing company that has been thriving on a Global scale, are looking to bring in a HSE Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a company that offers a fantastic working environment and structure. This is a Permanent role - Monday - Friday role. The position can be based out of the Banbridge or Mallusk site.
Salary Fully Negotiable (High Salary) - highly competitive rate of pay for the role which is negotiable based on experience + Great Benefits.
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record managing HSE functions within manufacturing and assembly, commercial M&E, or building services environments.
- They will lead the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of HSE systems across large, complex, multi-site operations.
- The role requires close collaboration with project teams and senior stakeholders throughout all phases of manufacturing and assembly, including risk assessment, inspections, compliance monitoring, and incident management.
- The successful candidate will be an effective influencer who drives a positive safety culture, ensures regulatory compliance, and protects workforce wellbeing.
- This position works closely with senior leadership, clients, and project teams (including remote teams) to embed HSE requirements into planning and project delivery across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems in line with legal, industry, and client requirements across multiple sites.
- Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing HSE team, ensuring appropriate resourcing across projects.
- Deliver training, mentoring, performance management, and continuous professional development for HSE staff.
- Oversee risk assessments, audits, site inspections, compliance monitoring, and incident investigations.
- Drive consistent HSE standards, accountability, and quality assurance across all operations.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration between HSE, project teams, and clients.
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an HSE Manager or equivalent within manufacturing and assembly or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of local, national, and international HSE legislation and standards.
- Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, International Diploma, or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading and developing HSE teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and continuously improve HSE management systems in complex operational environments.
