VANRATH is working with a well established furniture retailer on the appointment of a Store Manager for their Ballymena branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven retail leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and loves motivating a team to exceed expectations. As Store Manager you will take full ownership of the store's success.

Permanent, full time 38 hours per week over 5 days Ballymena based.

The Role

  • Take full ownership of the day to day operation and commercial success of the branch.
  • Lead, coach and inspire the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Lead by example through strong personal sales performance and a hands on style.
  • Develop a high performing team through regular coaching, one to ones and team briefings.
  • Build a strong partnership with your Assistant Manager, creating an effective leadership team.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first enquiry through to aftersales support.
  • Present the showroom to the highest standards, creating an environment that inspires customers.
  • Analyse sales performance, identify opportunities and put action plans in place to maximise results.
  • Create effective commercial rotas that support customer demand and business performance.
  • Take ownership of branch administration, compliance and health and safety.
  • Champion company values and build a positive, high performance culture.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Store or Branch Manager, or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step up into a first Store Manager role.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding sales results and exceeding KPIs.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a high performing team.
  • A hands on leadership style, leading by example through your own performance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and decision making skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Furniture retail experience an advantage but not essential.
