We're supporting our client to recruit for a HR Transformation Lead who will support the implementation of HBHR - a new HR system that will reshape how their HR team (and the wider organisation) manages key people processes from day one.

About your next employer: You'll join an established organisation in a Human Resources function during an important systems and ways-of-working upgrade. This temporary assignment focuses on the HR functional rollout of HBHR across HRIS/database, ATS, and Time & Attendance, working closely with the HR Director, IT, the system vendor/implementation partner, and stakeholders across the business.

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience preparing an HR team for a new HR system / HRIS implementation
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, absence, performance, and reporting) and how they map to system workflows
  • Proven experience in change management, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable working with HR data - preparation, cleansing, and validation for migration, with GDPR awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical detail into plain language for non-technical users
  • Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and keep the programme on track

What you'll do:

  • Act as the HR functional lead for the HBHR rollout, coordinating between HR, IT, and the vendor/implementation partner
  • Assess current HR processes, map them to the new system, and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve
  • Drive readiness through testing support (including UAT), issue tracking, and ensuring a smooth move to go-live
  • Develop and deliver the change and communications plan, building engagement and enabling end users through training and support

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience supporting go-live activities, including floor-walking and hands-on user support
  • Prior involvement in HR system rollouts covering HRIS/database, ATS, and Time & Attendance
  • Experience producing SOPs, workflow documentation, and practical training materials that drive adoption

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Relevant degree level education (or equivalent experience) in a related discipline
  • Solid hands-on experience leading HR system functional change as part of a successful implementation
