- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (A-C or equivalent)
- Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment
- Studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional accounting qualification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively
- Good Excel skills; experience with finance systems or ERP systems advantageous
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Key responsibilities include
- Assisting with month-end duties and preparation of management accounts
- Processing journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable activities where required
- Assisting with budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis
- Supporting audit preparation and maintaining accurate financial records
- Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
