VANRATH is partnering with a respected professional services organisation to recruit an Associate HR Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with around two years' experience who is looking to transition into consultancy, broaden their expertise and work with a diverse client portfolio. You'll receive structured mentoring, exposure to increasingly complex projects and clear progression within a collaborative and supportive team.

About You

  • Around two years' experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar HR role
  • Degree in HR, Business or a related discipline
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards qualification or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation
  • Experience providing practical HR advice and supporting managers
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, client-focused approach
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with willingness to travel to client sites

What You'll Do

  • Provide practical, commercially focused HR and employment law advice to a diverse client base
  • Support the delivery of HR projects, helping clients enhance their people practices and HR frameworks
  • Advise managers on recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations matters
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR queries
  • Research and implement practical HR solutions that improve efficiency and add value
  • Support clients in developing positive, inclusive workplace cultures
  • Contribute to business development activities, networking events and client engagement initiatives
  • Continue developing your consultancy skills through mentoring, coaching and exposure to increasingly complex client work
