Assistant Accountant / Accounts Payable HYBRID

A manufacturing business based in the Derry/Londonderry area require an Assistant Accountant to join their team for an initial period of 6 months, are you an experienced Assistant Accountant who is comfortable with the month end processes? The Ideal Person If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant; Degree or equivalent in Accountancy or another relevant subject. Studying towards accounts technician or CIMA / ACCA 6 Mths Experience in a similar role. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Responsibilities As an Assistant Accountant you will: Working with and supporting the Accounts team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work in accordance with pre-determined metrics. Assist in the production of management accounts. Variance Analysis. Month-end Balance sheet reconciliations. Bank Reconciliations Completion of FP&A Supplementals. Support the processing on Payroll, Pension Scheme Administration and submission of HMRC returns Contribute to the overall success of the Accounts team, promoting and maintaining a positive work environment.
