About your next employer
You will be joining an established food manufacturing business operating within a regulated, audit-driven environment. This role sits within the technical function and reports directly to the Technical Manager, working closely with NPD, production, intake, dispatch, and hygiene teams.
About you
- Previous experience in a quality, technical, or food safety role within food manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and audit standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage production teams
- High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Confident working independently and providing clear instructions to others
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to remain adaptable in a fast-paced production environment
- Desirable: multilingual communication skills
What you’ll do
- Act as a key on-site presence ensuring the facility is audit-ready at all times
- Support and participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Train teams on quality procedures and monitor ongoing compliance
- Monitor GMP, CCP, allergen, and traceability controls across production
- Investigate customer complaints and support corrective actions
- Liaise with external laboratories for testing and analysis
- Review production and NPD records, issuing and closing out non-conformances
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and risk assessment reviews
