A leading facilities services provider is seeking an experienced Cleaning Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of multi-site contracts across the mid-ulster and Belfast region. This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for ensuring consistently high service standards, strong team performance, and excellent client satisfaction across a diverse range of locations.

The Role

  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple client sites
  • Lead, manage, and develop mobile and site-based cleaning teams
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained, inducted, and working to required standards
  • Carry out regular site audits and implement corrective actions where required
  • Act as the main operational point of contact for key stakeholders
  • Manage staffing levels, cover arrangements, attendance, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and service KPIs
  • Attend regular operational meetings and provide performance reporting
  • Drive efficiency improvements across labour planning and service delivery
  • Manage employee relations issues in line with internal procedures

The Person

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cleaning Manager / Operations role
  • Strong background in multi-site facilities or cleaning environments
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams
  • Confident in client/stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Hands-on, operationally focused approach
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • Willingness to undergo background/security clearance if required
