Client: A well-respected, multi-disciplinary Architect Practice that has been operating for many years has a great opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join them on a permanent basis. The business works on a range of projects including commercial, leisure, hospitality, retail, residential, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare and petroleum sectors. They are certified to ISO 9001 and hold a current SSIP Certificate. The business prides itself on presenting accurate and complete information, delivering projects on programme and within budget, building long-term relationships with their clients and customers by providing an exceptional service.
The Ideal Person:
- Construction / Architectural / CAD third-level qualification
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in an architectural environment working on construction projects
- Proven track record of producing quality drawings working to tight deadlines
- An experienced Autodesk AutoCAD user
- Conversant with 2D/3D draughting software using AutoCAD and REVIT
- Can adhere to CAD Standards, Document Control, Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations
- Work with the design team to ensure that designs are delivered in a timely and professional manner to clients
- Ability to produce accurate and well-presented drawings or documents in accordance with the design brief
- Ability to understand and create Architectural details from general arrangement plans
- Knowledge and experience of all common building materials and details
- Ability to take ownership of their own projects and undertake coordination of works
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Self-motivated to achieve the highest levels of excellence within the company
- Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective team player, organised and articulate
- Good time management, reliable and shows initiative
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- Possess attention to detail and desire to deliver high-quality output
- Ownership of the work done under your control
