Security Operations Continuous Improvement Lead VANRATH is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Northern Ireland organisation to recruit a Security Operations Continuous Improvement Lead to join their Security department. This is a high-impact role, acting as the organisation's intelligent client and driving operational excellence across the security operation through performance management, continuous improvement, business change and innovation. The postholder will partner closely with the contracted security provider to optimise operational performance, enhance the customer experience, and ensure full compliance with relevant security regulations. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000, depending on experience (candidates within this range preferred) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, office based. Some unsociable hours required, including early starts to support operational requirements during peak periods. About the Role The postholder will use operational insight, data analytics and technology to identify opportunities for improvement, lead transformational projects, and ensure security operations remain efficient, resilient and future-ready. The role works collaboratively across internal departments, regulatory authorities, key partners and external stakeholders to deliver strategic business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security and customer service. Key Accountabilities Operational Performance Monitor operational performance using data, dashboards and business intelligence to identify and analyse trends, risks and opportunities for improvement Lead operational performance governance and regular review meetings with the contracted security provider Drive improvements in customer throughput, queue performance, productivity and service delivery Develop and monitor operational performance frameworks, ensuring KPIs remain aligned to strategic objectives Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and implement sustainable corrective actions Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements Ensure policy and procedures are up to date and relevant Produce performance reports for senior management when requested Continuous Improvement
