It serves multiple sectors with a range of flexible, cost-effective buildings, focusing on quality, efficiency, safety, and meeting complex client requirements. Overview of Role: Key Responsibilities Responsible for the commercial management of projects. Ensuring clear and concise measurement, valuations, variations, preparation, submission, and agreement of interim and final accounts. Produce BOQs, monitor cash collection, monitor sub-contractor accounts, ensure budgets are met and attend regular finance meetings. Assisting in implementing the business plan and developing business opportunities. Regular and accurate reporting to the Commercial Manager and Managing Director. Desirable Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in successful project delivery and a minimum of 3 years' industry experience, including significant involvement in groundwork and civil engineering packages. Strong understanding of construction methods, forms, techniques, and associated construction costs, particularly within groundwork, drainage, excavation, and infrastructure works. Qualification in Quantity Surveying or membership of a relevant professional body. Clear understanding of contractual obligations, breaches, and remedies. Competent knowledge of a range of procurement options available in the industry. Familiarity with current legal and regulatory developments in respect of construction and associated law.
