Vanrath are delighted to be partnering with HSCNI to recruit on their behalf a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their community team. In this role you will provide a comprehensive occupational therapy service within a variety of community settings for adults who have a diagnosis of dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry a specific caseload to include complex clients with dementia and be responsible for organising and prioritising a varied workload.
- Assist Principal Occupational Therapist with the system for screening, prioritisation and allocation of cases within an agreed framework to include self-allocation and discharge planning.
- Initiate and follow through training, treatment plans and provision of services, which will foster independence and/or optimise levels of functioning, and holistic needs within the clients' own environment.
Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapy Degree (UK recognised)
- HCPC Registered
- Member of RCOT or Unison
- Previous 2 years minimum OT experience
