Client: Our client is a leading fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. They carry out high end fit-out projects across multiple sectors including high end residential, commercial, hotels and more. Business is booming with multiple projects currently ongoing and many more in the pipeline. Due to continuous growth, they have an excellent opportunity for a Bench Joiner to join them on a permanent basis.
The Role: The Bench Joiner will be responsible for producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools
- Interpreting and reading workshop/design and CAD drawings
- Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained
- Ensuring delivery dates for all items produced are met and maintained
- Adherence to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures
- Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and responsible manner
The Ideal Person:
- At least 3 years' experience of high quality carpentry and joinery
- Ability to interpret and read workshop/design and CAD drawings
- Experienced in the use of wood working machines
- Ability to set up work pieces and tools
- The ability to process work effectively and produce quality workmanship
- Able to commute to Antrim on a daily basis
