About your next employer
You'll be joining a large local authority within its Parks and Leisure function, delivering a wide range of services to the public including memberships, facility bookings and community programmes.
About you
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer-facing role
- At least 1 year's administrative experience with strong record-keeping skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using booking systems or EPOS systems (desirable)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Positive, proactive and team-focused approach
- Full driving licence (or access to suitable transport)
What you'll do
- Act as the first point of contact for parks and leisure enquiries via phone, email and live chat
- Manage leisure memberships including new applications, renewals and cancellations
- Coordinate bookings for facilities, events and programmes
- Maintain and update customer records and booking systems
- Support payment processing, invoicing and membership queries
- Assist with reporting, data collation and FOI requests
- Provide administrative support including meeting coordination and minute taking
- Support outreach, promotions and customer engagement initiatives
