The predicted salary is between 30600 - 37400 £ per year.

VANRATH is working with a thriving and well established motor retailer on the recruitment of a Parts / Aftersales Advisor for their Belfast dealership.

This is a split role across parts and service, so you will be looking after the trade and workshop parts side while also supporting the aftersales operation.

You will help keep the parts department running efficiently across trade, workshop sales and goods inwards, build lasting relationships with customers and work towards the department’s sales targets.

It will suit someone with franchised parts experience who is keen to keep developing within the motor trade.

  • Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week plus a Saturday rota
  • Belfast based
  • Happy to pay a highly competitive rate for the right person

The Role

Key responsibilities include

  • Serve customers professionally and take payment in line with company policy
  • Handle goods inwards and receipting, and issue parts to workshop jobs
  • Identify and price parts accurately on the electronic vehicle health check
  • Keep technicians served as quickly as possible
  • Source parts for order quickly and economically
  • Return warranty parts in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Locate parts correctly to manufacturer standards
  • Check all stock and orders against delivery and advice notes
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum one year's experience in a busy franchised parts / aftersales department is essential
  • Good customer service experience
  • Sound IT skills
  • Able to work to deadlines, on your own initiative as well as within a team
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Five GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths, English and ICT preferable
  • Previous experience within the relevant franchise preferable but not essential
