About you

  • Qualified Accounts Technician (ATI or equivalent) or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, CAI, ACCA)
  • At least 3 years\' experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or a related industry
  • Experience with ERP systems (Navision preferred)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with non-finance colleagues
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting and month-end procedures
  • Open to applications from both fully qualified and part-qualified professionals

What you\'ll do

  • Support sales and purchase ledger processing and resolve related queries
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and review general ledger entries
  • Prepare and analyse month-end and year-end financial reports
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts including banks, stocks, and fixed assets
  • Contribute to compliance with VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat, and similar statutory returns
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and develop internal KPI reports
  • Provide ad hoc support and insightful financial analysis to senior team members
