About you
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation preferred)
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within education, refurbishment, or new build projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract and cost management software
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- High level of financial and commercial awareness
- Valid CSR card or health & safety training
- Full UK driving licence and at least 5 years’ construction industry experience
What you’ll do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and value analyses for large contracts
- Manage procurement processes for suppliers and sub-contractors
- Oversee change control procedures, including variations and amendments
- Collaborate with site teams on measurements, drawings, and take-offs
- Monitor project costs, produce interim and final accounts, and manage financial reporting
- Contribute to contract delivery, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company policies
- Lead and mentor junior staff within the estimating team
