About you
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll operations within a high-volume environment
- Deep knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and compliance standards
- Proven experience leading or mentoring payroll teams
- Strong proficiency with payroll and HR systems, plus advanced Excel skills
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple demands
What you’ll do
- Lead the delivery of multiple payrolls including monthly and weekly
- Ensure all payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time, in line with legal requirements
- Manage complex payroll matters, including manual calculations and cross-border tax considerations
- Oversee pension scheme transactions, contributions, and reporting in accordance with regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support
- Lead, develop, and motivate the payroll team to maintain high standards and a collaborative culture
