About you

  • Extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll operations within a high-volume environment
  • Deep knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and compliance standards
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring payroll teams
  • Strong proficiency with payroll and HR systems, plus advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple demands

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of multiple payrolls including monthly and weekly
  • Ensure all payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time, in line with legal requirements
  • Manage complex payroll matters, including manual calculations and cross-border tax considerations
  • Oversee pension scheme transactions, contributions, and reporting in accordance with regulations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the payroll team to maintain high standards and a collaborative culture
