About you

  • Previous experience as a Construction Planner within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in planning software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Asta Powerproject
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure
  • Relevant industry experience or formal qualifications (HNC/HND or Degree) in Construction Management or a related discipline are desirable

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes from pre-construction through to completion
  • Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect real-time performance
  • Identify risks, delays, and critical activities, providing mitigation solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate schedules
  • Produce progress reports and planning updates for internal and client meetings
  • Support tender programmes, resource allocation, and project sequencing
  • Assist with planning labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities to optimise project delivery
  • Ensure programmes meet contractual requirements and project milestones
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and project controls
