Vanrath are recruiting for a Sales Support Executive on behalf of a renewable energy sector company based in Newtownabbey on a temporary basis.

To support continued growth and improve operational efficiency across the business. The Sales Support Executive position will provide structured support across the Sales team. This role is designed to enhance customer experience, improve internal workflows, and increase productivity across key departments. The Sales Support Executive will play a key role in helping the business scale efficiently, ensuring their sales, operations, and customer service functions are seamlessly connected and consistently delivering a high-quality experience. This role is about adding structure, pace, and consistency to the way the business works. You’ll help refine workflows, strengthen communication across departments, and make sure every customer journey — from first enquiry to final handover — feels professional, organised, and effortless. By supporting multiple areas of the business, you’ll help things move faster, work smarter, and continue raising the bar for service in the renewable energy sector.
What you’ll do
Sales & Commercial Support
- Supporting the sales team with follow-ups, surveys, and documentation
- Helping convert enquiries into confirmed projects.
Workload Analysis & Time Allocation
To assess the viability and necessity of the role, an estimated weekly workload has been calculated based on current activity levels.
Sales Support New Lead Follow-Up
- Average leads: 500 per month
- Contacting all new leads in a timely and fashionable manner.
- Ensuring all leads are communicated with and details recorded regarding their needs
- Planning and booking surveys for technical surveyors to carry out on site.
- Making approx. 100 calls per day on prewarmed leads.
- Using CRM to record and plan
- Providing cover for site surveys during annual leave (training provided)
About you
Essential Skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator (phone, email, and internal teams)
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Proactive mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable with tech, systems, and learning new tools
- Experience in admin, operations, sales support, or customer service
- Background in construction, energy, or technical industries (bonus, not essential)
- Experience working across multiple departments
