Plumber (Public Sector)
VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a Plumber for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based at their Newtownabbey site.
Responsibilities
- Perform all plumbing work necessary in the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock, including bathroom suites/wet rooms, kitchen replacements, general pipework, fitting cylinders, tanks, radiators, sink-tops, immersion heaters, shower trays and units and any other associated works.
- Perform first and second fix plumbing work as required.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify repairs or replacements.
- Complete tasks outside the plumbing trade where required for operational purposes.
Requirements
- Successfully completed an apprenticeship in plumbing (time served or skills based).
- Have a minimum of one year’s relevant post‑apprenticeship experience in a plumbing environment.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety requirements and legislation in a maintenance/repair environment.
- Hold a full current driving licence to enable the post holder to carry out the required duties of this post.
Remuneration
£27,694 – £32,597 plus Van & Fuel Card.
