Salary: GBP15.83 - GBP15.83 per hour
We require an agency worker to cover Executive Officer II duties in the People & Organisational Development team, Corporate Services. The anticipated duration of the placement is up to 31 March 2027 [placement will be subject to the Commission’s budget i.e. the placement may end at any time should the budget situation demand it]. The key duties relate to:
- Assist with the development of a staff training plan covering 2026/28 and support its introduction throughout the remainder of this business year.
- Procure and support the completion of a skills audit in preparation for the 2027/28 staff training plan.
- Support the development of succession planning in the Commission and support the production a simple succession plan.
- Processing training applications using the Hark system.
- Assist with monitoring the training budget spend.
- Assisting the Commission plan and deliver a programme of internal and external recruitment through implementation of the Commission’s Recruitment and Selection Procedures, including using the Commission’s online recruitment system.
- Assisting with the implementation of the Commission’s hybrid working plan.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective organisation and completion of the day to day work of human resources administration, including using the Commission’s attendance recording system.
- Maintaining records of sickness absence on the Hark system and ensuring the completion by managers of absence return forms and interviews.
- Assisting with the planned transfer of manual personnel files to a digital format.
The Commission operates on a hybrid working basis. Please note that the agency worker will be working initially in the office.
