About you
- At least 3 years of relevant surveying experience within the construction sector
- Third level qualification in Surveying or related field
- Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT, and FIDIC contract forms
- Proven track record in managing contractual claims and disputes
- Proficiency with conquest estimating packages and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines
- Willingness to travel across and outside of the UK as needed
What you'll do
- Lead pre-contract activities, including take-offs and tender support
- Assist with estimating and budget setting for projects
- Manage post-contract activities such as evaluating valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Oversee subcontractor appointments, payments, and insurances
- Monitor project costs, timelines, and contractual compliance
- Provide detailed financial reports and advice to management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise project value
