About you
- Current membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
- Possesses a Level 6 or Level 5 qualification in HR or Business Studies, or demonstrates equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing recruitment processes end-to-end, from developing job descriptions to interviewing and onboarding
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices related to talent acquisition
- Excellent relationship-building skills with managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to interpret policies, advise on recruitment and selection procedures, and work within a unionised environment
What you’ll do
- Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on all aspects of recruitment and selection
- Manage and coordinate the recruitment process from vacancy approval, sourcing, interviewing, to offer management
- Support organisational changes and workforce planning initiatives through effective talent acquisition strategies
- Assist in conducting candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and diversity hiring principles
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment practices and candidate experience
