VANRATH is assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a Plumber for a 3‑month initial period, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be predominantly based at the Coleraine site.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake all plumbing work necessary in the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock, including bathroom suites, wet rooms, kitchen replacements, general pipework, fitting cylinders, tanks, radiators, sink‑tops, immersion heaters, shower trays and units and any other associated works.
  • Undertake, as and when required, first and second fix plumbing work.
  • Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify repair and/or replacement needs.
  • Complete tasks outside their trade where required for operational purposes.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed an apprenticeship in plumbing (time‑served or skills‑based).
  • Minimum of one year of relevant post‑apprenticeship experience working in a plumbing environment.
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety requirements and legislation in a maintenance/repair environment.
  • Full, current driving licence to enable the post holder to carry out the required duties of this post.

Remuneration

£27,694 – £32,597 per annum, plus Van & Fuel Card.
