About the role
Our client operates in the social housing / property maintenance sector, providing response repair services and void work to keep properties safe, compliant and tenant‑ready. This hands‑on role works alongside site teams and reports to the site supervisor, focusing on efficient, cost‑effective repairs and courteous service to tenants and clients.
About you
- Time‑served joinery or appropriately qualified with demonstrable joinery experience
- Strong 1st and 2nd fix joinery skills (including ironmongery repairs)
- Experience with door installations, kitchen fitting/installation, and general joinery maintenance
- The ability to survey, fault‑find, and carry out minor roofing repairs
- A valid CSR Card
- A full driving licence
What you’ll do
- Carry out response repairs and void works, working efficiently to meet property needs
- Complete joinery tasks such as door fitting/installation, ironmongery repairs and glazing‑related work
- Support tenanted properties and voids with a respectful, customer‑focused approach
- Use appropriate safety equipment and follow site health & safety procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of site documentation, using paper or electronic systems as required
