About you
- Valid NEBOSH Certification or equivalent Occupational Safety qualification
- Proven experience in safety supervision or management within a similar industry
- Skilled in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong communication and organisational capabilities
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, and able to deliver effective training programs
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines

What you’ll do
- Develop and implement the organisation’s health and safety strategy to ensure legal compliance and operational excellence
- Manage, mentor, and support the safety team across multiple sites
- Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement
- Create, review, and update policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
- Promote a positive safety culture through leadership engagement, training initiatives, and employee involvement
- Work closely with internal teams, external regulators, and contractors to uphold safety standards and expectations
